Can I use the SipTel mobile number for phone calls as well as SMS?
Yes. The SMS + Mobile plan includes a dedicated Australian 04 mobile number that sends and receives SMS and makes and receives calls, with unlimited standard Australian calls included (calls to 13 and 1300 numbers are 30c per call).
Can I keep my existing business mobile number?
Yes. You can port your existing Australian mobile number to SipTel and keep using it for SMS and calls. Alphanumeric Sender IDs, such as your company name, are also supported.
Does the SMS gateway work with 3CX?
Yes. SipTel's SMS gateway has a ready-made 3CX integration, so messages are sent and received inside the 3CX client alongside your calls. Yeastar integration is coming soon.
Can I connect the SMS gateway to my CRM or custom software?
Yes. Every plan includes SMS API access and our integration guide. Your IT provider or developer uses the guide to connect your CRM, booking system or in-house software to the gateway.
Do I need a phone system to send business SMS?
No. Every plan includes access to the SipTel web messaging portal, so you can send and receive SMS from any browser without a phone system or any integration.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No. All SipTel SMS plans are month to month with no lock-in contract. Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST.
